Just had an idea that i think could be nice, inspired by the limitations of the inventory.
What if a coop building was made entirely by role? For example (all anmes are fictional): -Jack puts all the armor blocks in his toolbar (4 shapes, light and heavy armor = 8 slots) plus, say, doors in the last slot. -Since Jack already handles the armor blocks, Diego equips himself with both types of lights (2 slots), both reactors (4), conveyor blocks, storage blocks, and so on. He is basically the energy, cable and lighting guy. -Fatima fills her inventory bar (just kidding, girls don't play engineer games, until proven otherwise) with straight windows, slanted windows, single barriers, double barriers...
You get the point.
I believe this could yield interesting results, and i want to try it out soon. As usual, apartment building is a great place to start (in Civilian part 2 though. Part 1 is already laggy enough).
Restrictions breed creativity.

-This statement is false 2 Paradoxes I like the idea actually, especially since different type of players have different skills, different strengths and weakness For appartments and houses: DONT DO INTERIOR arround 30% of the Buildings insides will be seen, and the more stuff there is which we dont see at all, but causes lag, the less we can add But i like this idea, really +1 Ton Gold
